Why we don’t start with solving the problem
“A group cannot solve a complex problem well if it has no shared understanding of it.”
Why we often start with feelings?
“Because people cannot meaningfully engage with a complex problem if we ignore where they are emotionally in relation to it.”
What counts as evidence of a skill?
“There is a gap between how we develop human skills, how we recognise them, and how we show them in the labour market.”
What happens between an idea and a solution?
“There’s a process for that. The innovation process. It’s creative, analytical and fun, but also abstract, messy and deeply collaborative.”
